FRIENDS OF PARK GARDENS IN STROUD TO BE ESTABLISHED Print E-mail

Sarah-Lunnon13th September 2007

A new group is to be set up to ensure that Park Gardens in Slad Road improves and remains a facility for all the community.

The first meeting of the Friends of Park Gardens will be held on 21st September at 7.30 at Painswick Inn. The meeting has been organised by Cllr Sarah Lunnon (pictured) whose ward includes the gardens.

Sarah Lunnon said: "It has been done in other towns and it seemed like a good way to try and involve the wider community with the park."

Last night Sarah Lunnon welcomed some 60 people to the first meeting of the newly formed  Slad Brook Action Group. See report here.
