Janet Thomas who recently stood as the Green party candidate for the County Council by-election seat in Cheltenham offers these two poems...

 

SKIPOLOGY:-
 
One barely sat upon settee,
One unopened packet of baby wipes
Two pairs of unworn shoes, men’s size 8
One antique mirror, with drawers
Two brand new pine wood loo seats
One unopened Easter egg (with quality chocolates inside)
An electric massager (shiatsu brand)
Four box files
A pink cardigan – Ralph Lauren
One completely new top quality frying pan – heavy steel
A plastic bucket
And a classy handbag in canvas and leather
All available in a skip near you….
 
 
BINOLOGY:-
 
14 six packs of German beer
4 rolls of dustbin sacks
10 packs of cook in Bolognese sauce
a dustbin bag full of squashed packs of washing powder
1 pack of green pan scourers (unopened)
4 bottles of mango chutney – yum yum…
and a stray cat with a job lot of Whiskers
Fresh produce daily
in the bins at the back of the local supermarket
