The popular cafe Woodruffs in Stroud's High Street has very generously agreed to have two shelves of good quality second hand books for sale with all proceeds going to the local Green Party.

Norah Kennedy, a Green party member who organises the books said: "This is a great way to recycle a good read and raise money to support Greens!"

The books are located in the seating area upstairs on the top two shelves of the bookcase and there is an eye catching honesty box which was made by local carpenter Ken Brown.
