GREEN GAIN: Stroud Town Council By Election - 26 Oct 2006 Print E-mail

Gek Bee Prout One Planet. One Chance. Vote Green Party.

Green majority on Town Council for first time

Gek Bee Prout received 53.8 % of the vote and has therefore been elected to Stroud Town Council. Lib Dem, Tory and Independent were also all standing but half-term contributed to a disappointingly low turn-out of only 20%.
