Nailsworth By-Election disappointment Print E-mail

Chris Harmer missed being elected today by 47 votes. John Marjoram, Chris Harmers' agent, said: "The Greens fought one of their best campaigns ever so it is very disappointing to loose again by only a few votes - but we will be back to hopefully win the seat next time."

We are standing 12 candidates for Stroud District Council, 5 for Gloucester City, 2 for Tewkesbury and 6 for the Forest of Dean District elections on May 3rd. We are defending four seats including John Marjoram, the longest serving Green Councillor in the country, going for a record 7th term. We are working hard and with green issues firmly on the agenda plan to make gains this year.
